When will I receive my box?

One subscribed, your boxes will arrive during the first week of every month for the duration of your subscription!

When will my subscription start?

Your first box will depend on the date by which your subscription began. To receive next month’s box, your subscription must have been purchased before the 21st of the previous month.

For example: Subscriptions purchased on or before the 20th January, will begin with the February box, arriving in the first week of February. Subscriptions purchased on or after the 21st January will have missed out on February’s box and will begin with the March box, arriving in the first week of March.

How do you choose the books?

The Feminist Book Box is founded by Hachette, one of the UK’s leading publishing houses, and we have a brilliant selection panel made up of feminists from across our business. After reading the books our publishers suggest and meeting to talk about the books, the panel have the difficult task of choosing just two to share with you each month!

How do I take part in the exclusive FBB book club?

You will be sent an invitation to register for the event by email, of course registration is free for our FBB subscribers. Events will generally be in the last week of the month to give you a chance to at least dip in to your books.

I can’t make the FBB Book Club, can I watch any other way?

Absolutely! Following our live events, we will upload a recording for our subscribers to access via your FBB account anywhere, anytime. These are also available for our new subscribers to catch up on. Sign in here & start watching...

When will I be charged?

You pay for your subscription period upfront when you subscribe to The Feminist Book Box.

I didn't receive my order confirmation email, what do I do?

Not to worry! Sometimes our email communications can fall into your junk folder, please add support@thefeministbookbox.com to your mailbox contact list to avoid this from happening. If you still can't find it in junk, then you can also view and manage your order history in your FBB account, simply sign in here.

How do I redeem a gift card?

Gift cards are really simple to redeem, you just have to use them instead of a credit or debit card at the checkout. Click on 'Subscribe', then choose the subscription that matches the value of the card that you received. Proceed through checkout and enter the gift card number when prompted. That's it, you're all done!

If you've been gifted a 3 or 6 month subscription, you can buy a longer subscription by using the gift card as part payment against a 6 or 12 month subscription. You can make up the difference in cost yourself using a credit or debit card.

Gift cards can be redeemed in conjunction with other codes. Any remaining balance will be held on the card to be used against a future purchase until its expiry date. Any unused balance will be lost upon expiry.

My box hasn’t arrived, what do I do?

We’ll usually announce on Instagram when our monthly boxes have been sent out. It can take up to 5 working days for them to reach you after this point, but if you haven’t received your box after 7 days please contact support@thefeministbookbox.com 

My book has arrived damaged, who can I speak to about a replacement?

We hand-pack and wrap each individual box, so we’re sure that you’ll get perfect copies of your books, but in the unlikely event you do have a problem with your order please contact support@thefeministbookbox.com 

How much is postage?

Delivery is free, so no surprise additional charges at check out!

Do you ship internationally?

No, we’re sorry! We currently only ship to the UK, but watch this space...

Will the box fit through my letterbox?

We tried! But being packed with two fabulous books means our beautiful boxes won't fit through a letterbox.

How do I cancel my order?

Cancellations of subscriptions can be requested in accordance with our Terms and Conditions

I would like a refund

Refunds for a subscription can be requested in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. To qualify for a full refund, the box must be intact and unopened.
